Gwen Sebastian Joins Jogglebug
She Says, "Why Tweet When You Can Speak?"
Gwen Sebastian is now using JoggleBug to connect with her fans in a very personal and direct way - with her voice.
JoggleBug.com was founded by Ann Cameron and has been live since September 9th. Ann says, “We give artists and celebrities a cool new way to communicate with their fans in real voice in real time.”
When an artist or celebrity leaves a JoggleBug, it is instantly delivered to the Artist’s website, Facebook page and MySpace page in the artist’s voice, as well as auto Tweeting. Because they can do this from any phone, including cell phones, artists can JoggleBug from anywhere.
Gwen became the first female artist to join the JoggleBug roster and she says she's had a blast leaving messages from her various locations as she travels in support of her Lofton Creek/Open Road Records single Hard Rain.
She says, "My fans know me pretty well and it is so much fun and so much more personal leaving them messages than typing or texting. With JoggleBug, my fans know it’s really me connecting with them."

Arbitron's CEO Bill Kerr Meets With Congress Again
Later This Week
Arbitron CEO
Kerr said, "We have been in very active dialog with both the MRC and with the members of the [PPM] Coalition. I am hopeful that we have a game plan and a timetable which seems to make sense for all parties that will enhance our ability to achieve the accreditation that we’re looking for with our markets, and also can be done in a way that is responsible for us in terms of being a commercial enterprise concerned about our shareholders. And one that will be helpful for radio in aggregate, not simply for a subset of players in the field."
Kerr, discussing any impact changing methodology will have, added, "I’m not sure whether it will, in fact, change the ratings. I think it will, in fact, help us reach more effectively, particularly the 18-34-year-old group. That is one of the groups that is hardest to reach and I think that is where the cell phone activity will be most beneficial."

Brad Pasiley Closes Out American Saturday Night Tour
Heads To Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo March 11
This past weekend Brad Paisley closed out his highly successful American Saturday Night Tour with sold-out shows in Greenville, SC, Knoxville, TN and Charleston, SC. Miranda Lambert and Justin Moore were his special guests for the final leg of the tour and helped Paisley close out each show by joining him on the encore finale, “Alcohol.”
As AllAboutCountry reported earlier, Saturday night at the North Charleston Coliseum Brad took a hard fall onstage at the end of “Alcohol” but he jumped back up, thanked the audience and told them good-bye. Once he left the stage he was transported to the local hospital via ambulance and after undergoing tests it was determined he was just badly bruised. He is very sore today but continues to give updates on Twitter.com/paisleyofficial.
Paisley will be playing the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo this Thursday (March 11) evening. He currently has the honor of holding the attendance record (73,003) of any country music artist in the 78 year history of the Rodeo.

Stop! Is There A New Label Coming To Music Row?
Announcement May Come This week
"A major Nashville label is planning to create a second imprint, and may announce the new venture this week," The Nashville Post is reporting.
Sony Music/Nashville, UMG/nashville, Warner Music Group, Big Machine and Broken Bow currently have two or more imprints.
The Post asks the question, "What might a second imprint look like? If, they say, "the newly formed entity mirrors the model used by most other Nashville labels, it will feature a fully staffed second promotion team that will utilize existing resources from other divisions inside the label."
