This position is full-time and involves a live (7-10pm) and pre-recorded (10pm-Mid) high-energy, entertaining evening show. We put an emphasis on listener interaction, heavy local flavor, entertainment value and social media engagement. Don't come here to read liner cards or do :10 speed breaks and punch a clock. Off air duties with this position include being our late afternoon production coordinator before your shift. You'll produce and oversee the station’s commercial production each afternoon Mon-Fri. This position is roughly a 2pm-10pm shift weekdays. It will also include paid live broadcasts and paid and non-paid station events/appearances. Night and weekend work is common. Position Summary:
What do you get when you mix part writer, editor, news and political junky, student of social media and add a dash of video creator?  The making of News Talk 1110 & 99.3 WBT’s newest Digital Content Editor. Our new team member will be a self-starter that creates, aggregates and maintains content, including text, video, photos and graphics, driving traffic and conversations to our news-talk radio station website, social and mobile efforts and builds communities. Writing and editing succinct, fact-filled content in a compelling and active tone for wbt.com are at the core of this positions duties.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities: 
Make and execute editorial decisions on wbt.com content in conjunction with the WBT Brand Manager.
Build and maintain special coverage sections of wbt.com and other domains for events and special projects.
Maintain an online calendar of station and community events.
Publish special feature articles and/or photo galleries using content provided by reporters, show hosts and wire services.
Promote online content with social media posts and evaluate effectiveness.
Train and guide staff in Programming and News departments to add, maintain and update content on websites and improve the presentation of content online.
Minimum Competencies Required: (knowledge, skills and abilities)
·       Awareness and understanding of current events, politics and news.
·       Advanced writing and/or journalism skills
·       Basic understanding of Wordpress or similar content management systems
·       Advanced understanding of Facebook and Twitter
·       Video shooting and editing are a plus

Position Summary:
An Account Executive is responsible for maintaining and growing an active account list with the purpose of giving the client unparalleled customer service and maximum revenue generation for the client and the station.
