Program Director/Air Talent KCYE/FM Las Vegas

Beasley Media Group Las Vegas is looking for a creative, motivated Program Director / On Air Talent for Country Format, KCYE-FM 102.7-The Coyote. The ideal candidate should have PPM knowledge and work closely with all talent to help unlock their potential. This candidate must have a solid understanding of social media and create / execute a digital plan to drive results for digital growth. An on-air shift is preferred. Our new PD will be expected to demonstrate promotional creativity and have a proven, sales-friendly work record. This Program Director is expected to attend sales and client meetings, and must be willing to assist Account Executives in the creation of a wide range of promotions.  

Qualifications:
• A minimum of five years of radio programming management experience as a Program Director/Music Director or Assistant Program Director preferably in a PPM Market.
• The ability to demonstrate Strategic and Tactical Planning.
• PPM Analytical skills with creativity and the instinct to win.
• Proven proficiency with RCS Selector, Adobe Audition, PPM Analysis Tool, and all Social Media platforms.
• Wide Orbit, PD Advantage and Media Monitors experience is preferred;  
• Team player, willing to work closely with the Operations Manager and other Program Directors, Sales Managers, Account Executives, Promotions team, Engineering, Consultants, and the Corporate Management team.

Afternoon Drive Host / Traffic Coordinator
 
Real Country 101.7 WLQM/Frranklin, VA  has an immediate opening in a dual role position as Afternoon Drive Host / Traffic Coordinator. 
 
This is a small market, outside of major markets. We compete with the bigger stations and win. We just do it from out in the country. It helps if you understand that we have agriculture reports on air, and rural / agriculture equipment clients on air.  While the big cities are a short drive, that is not what we are.  We have volunteer fire department social events, civic club fundraisers and such. Our listeners are our neighbors and we are in their neighborhoods.
 
We need an energetic afternoon drive personality who understands small market radio, connects with listeners on air and face to face and who isn’t afraid of wearing many hats! We need talent that will give our listeners relevant, engaging, entertaining and informative content.  You will also be responsible for assisting with social media, digital products, production & remotes.
 
Traffic Coordinator responsibilities include entering all commercial schedules, preparing daily logs, coordinating copy with production/AE’s, completing network affidavits, etc.
 
Requirements: Country on-air experience, excellent verbal and written communication skills, highly organized, attention to detail,  familiarity with our software systems a huge plus (Adobe, Scott SS32, Natural Log), strong production and social media capabilities.

Board Operator/Producer
Description
Experience operating radio-broadcasting console and/or producing an on-air show preferred.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
 
  • The part-time board operator/producer will be responsible for running and maintaining a precise broadcast at all times. Accurate board work with in-studio and network programming is the main responsibility.
  • Candidate must be able to read and accurately interpret station traffic logs.
  • Board-op/producers will be responsible for communicating with the program director, executive producer or broadcast engineers when opportunities or challenges are observed during his/her shift.
  • Monitor and utilize digital and social media assets for breaking sports news and show promotion.
  • In addition to board-op and producer duties, candidates will have an opportunity to serve as a sports update anchor, field reporter and production assistant.
 
Qualifications:
 
  • Familiarity with computers and digital broadcast equipment is required.
  • On-air experience and the ability to craft an on-point sports news update is preferred. 
  • Proficiency with Pro Tools and/or Adobe Audition production systems is preferred.
  • Board-op/producers will need basic phone skills to help contact guests and answer listener calls.
  • Social media skills are preferred.
  • Flexibility of schedule is a must.
